Reactor 29″
Nukeproof Reactor 290 RS Carbon Bike
Introducing the all new Nukeproof Reactor: an old school name with a very new school look. Although it takes its name from the original 1996 Nukeproof Reactor trail frame, a lot has changed in the last 23 years as it runs an all new trail focused platform.
From concept through to design, the Kinematics, the geometry and specification; the Reactor is designed from the ground up to be the ultimate aggressive trail bike. It is at home on technical climbs, but happiest when thrashing the most technical trails you can point it at.
The RS model is the hooligan spec option in the range, with a host of upgrades to make it burlier than the rest. It features a +10mm Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate RCT3 forks (160mm) up front, a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT rear shock, our award-winning carbon handlebars, 4 Pot Code RSC brakes (With Sintered Pads), a SRAM XO1 Eagle Drivechain with Carbon Descendant Cranks and Mavic’s brand new Deemax DH wheelset.
Frame Construction:
To optimise the weight, strength and stiffness, the Reactor Carbon frame features a full UD woven carbon fibre frameset (Including chain and seat stays). It is available for 27.5” or 29” wheel sizes. These are two totally different, compromise free frames that were designed and developed at the same time. Each frame is simply tailored around each wheel size.
Speed or play: which do you value more? The manoeuvrability of 27.5” or the raw speed of a 29”?
Adjustable Geometry:
All Reactor frames feature a “flip chip” to adjust the geometry from “Trail” to “Rail mode”.
Trail – As the name suggests, this setting is best suited for trail riding. It is for riders who get as much enjoyment from the climb as the descents.
Rail – The Rail setting turns the Reactor into a corner shredder, dropping the bottom bracket 6mm and slackening the head angle by half a degree. It is there to maximise the descending capabilities.
Suspension Design:
To ensure the bike could climb as well as it descends, we designed the 4 bar horst linkage to have higher levels of anti-squat for climbing gears but lower levels when you drop down the cassette. This means that the bike can behave itself on the climbs but when you get it up to speed, it turns into a trail hooligan. The combination of low anti-squat and progressive rate give ultimate small bump compliance (removes rough trail and root chatter) with good mid stroke support for cornering/pumping and end stroke progression for aggressive riding. Balanced anti-rise figures allow the Reactor some squat when braking hard, maintaining rider position and providing a good amount of pressure through the tyre to ensure traction. The Reactor is designed to reward the rider and ensure you get that stoke factor in on any ride.

Racing is in our DNA. It comes from being developed and tested in conjunction with the world’s fastest racers.
Suspension design and frame details:
The Dissent platform was originally conceived by our engineers as a concept to test several progression curve theories at once. However, in turning the theory into reality, we created something much better than expected, and the prototype won on its international debut at Crankworx festival’s Garbanzo Downhill race with Sam Hill.
It is not uncommon for different world cup riders to want a slightly different characteristic to one another depending on factors such as their riding style and whether they run flat pedals or not. The DISSENT takes this into account with an adjustable main pivot flip chip, designed to essentially work like a bottomless token for a coil shock. The DISSENT Frame now offers riders the choice of 4 main pivot positions, which alter how progressive the suspension is. Cleverly the geometry and travel do not change between positions. Note: The sag difference between each setting is around 1% so you should not need a different spring rate.
The Main pivot flip chips are fast and simple to change and offer a tailored factory set up for every rider!
Further custom tuning can be done via our new 3 position adjustable chainstay features interchangeable dropout inserts. The chainstay flip chips allow you to alter the wheelbase by 5-10mm depending on the type of track you’re riding, your height or riding style.
The combination of frame adaptability, a custom hydroformed 6061 aluminium tubeset, a confidence inspiring 63-degree head angle and 200mm of travel via our new Dissent platform make this bike the privateers dream. The centrally-positioned shock and linkage system ensure optimum handling while other features include a true 1.5” head tube, ISCG 05 mounts and a 157mm x 12mm rear axle to keep things stable at the rear.

Nukeproof Dissent 275 Frame
“It makes me want to race some World Cups again (Sam Hill)
Racing is in our DNA. It comes from being developed and tested in conjunction with the world’s fastest racers.
The new DISSENT platform shares some similarities with the Pulse at first glance, but if you dig a little deeper it is actually quite different. The main changes we wanted to make were:
- Simplify the design, to drop the weight and increase the front triangle stiffness.
- More progressive leverage rate to increase the mid stroke support to make the bike pump better, sit higher in the travel, improve stability in corners and improve the liveliness of the ride.
Structurally the most obvious change is an all new suspension design for the DISSENT. In a move away from the Fallout Linkage; The new DISSENT’s rocker link is now positioned on the outside of the seat tube, rather than tucked inside a clamshell as before. This allows us to drop a fair bit of weight whilst increasing the front triangle stiffness at the same time.
Suspension design and frame details:
The suspension platform now uses a push rather than a pull link, helping to reduce the loads and stresses on the frame again helping to further save weight and improve durability. The result of all of this is that the Dissent frame is over 400g lighter than the Pulse.

Nukeproof Mega 290 RS Carbon Bike
Since 1995, the infamous Megavalanche DH marathon race has been synonymous with big all-mountain riding. Starting at the highest point on Pic Blanc (3300m) above the village of Alpe D’Huez, it is seen as the pinnacle of mass start mountain bike racing around the world.
Originally conceived in 2009 as the perfect bike for this exact style of racing, the Nukeproof Mega was born. Now in its 4th evolution the Mega should need no introduction. It has tasted success within multiple disciplines and has numerous national and international race wins to its name.
Designed to excel on the toughest enduro tracks, the gravity focused Mega will inspire confidence on the most technical descents whilst maintaining pedalling efficiency for all-day epics in the saddle.
The RS model is the hooligan spec option in the range, with a host of upgrades to make it burlier than the rest. It features a +10mm Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate RCT3 forks (180mm) up front, a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT rear shock, our award-winning carbon handlebars, 4 Pot Code RSC brakes (With Sintered Pads), a SRAM XO1 Eagle Drivechain with Carbon Descendant Cranks and Mavic’s brand new Deemax DH wheelset.
Brand new 29” Frame
For 2020 we decided to make some changes and bring the Mega 290 bang up to date. The 29” frame is finally available in two material options: Full alloy or Carbon fibre front triangle with an alloy rear triangle. Both options feature updated geometry, increased travel and a revised suspension kinematic.
Updated Geometry and Suspension
The brand new 29” frame uses a short offset 170mm fork paired with 160mm of rear travel to create a proper monster-truck of a bike. To accommodate these changes, we updated the geometry by slackening the head angle and steepening the seat angle versus the previous version. We also revised the suspension kinematic to make the bike as fast as possible; improving the small bump sensitivity, improved mid stroke support for more predictable cornering/pumping and increased end stroke progression to inspire confidence through the roughest terrain.
High in Fibre
Utilising a blend of the highest quality carbon fibre composites, the Mega 290 Carbon has been hand crafted with 1 goal in mind… winning!
Not only is the chassis now significantly lighter than its aluminium counterpart, the strength, stiffness and reliability of the frame has been vastly improved enabling every rider to push harder, faster and with more confidence than ever before.
Tested and podium proven on the toughest of terrain and in the most varied conditions by 2x Enduro World Series Winner Sam Hill, the 2020 Mega 290 sets out to tackle every ride with its trademark attitude.

The freedom to steer away from the main stream and create your own adventure.
The Digger originated from wanting a do-it-all training bike for our athletes. It’s a versatile bit of kit. Designed to lap up the base miles, shred paths or get wild on the trails. A truly adaptable frame with a blend of road and mountain bike geometry whilst having the capacity for panniers and mud guards, the Digger can create an adventure out of any ride.
Simplicity is key. With a no nonsense spec bundle inspired by our athlete’s training bikes, and offering the familiar level of braking and drivetrain performance seen on our top level mountain bikes.
Featuring rack mounts, a removable seat stay bridge so you can have mud clearance or run proper full length mudguards, internal cable routing, plenty of tyre clearance and capacity for a dropper seatpost the digger can be whatever you need it to be.
